GREEN BEANS

1 pound of green beans
2 teaspoons soy sauce, or to taste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Cook in just enough water to keep them from scorching

1) Bring all ingredients to a boil.
2) Cook covered just until beans are as soft as you like them. Don’t overcook.

Hint: If possible, use fresh herbs instead of dried.
